At ALTAR, we believe that all people, especially women, need a space where they can be
exactly who they are. In our one-of-a-kind sacred clubhouse, curious women of all ages & backgrounds come together in authentic community – sharing knowledge and experiences that aid our journey toward our continual becoming. Here, you’ll find programs and conversations that sit at the intersection of healing and empowerment. You might come to ALTAR to experience the playful, yet profound, creativity of SoulCollage®, attend a talk from thought-provoking change-makers, or come just to hang out and BE for a while in a true third place that feels like a home away from home. Whichever experience interests you, it’s my heartfelt desire that everyone who crosses ALTAR's threshold feels the nurturing embrace of this intentional gathering space & all the wonderful people who contribute to this co-creative community.

About Kathy
Kathy is the Founder of ALTAR & Consciousness Concierge. Fueled by a deep-seated desire to nurture meaningful connections and holistic growth, Kathy drew from her diverse background as an MBA and an Inter-Spiritual Minister to craft a sanctuary that resonates with women of all ages. ALTAR is an expression of her passion to create a place where women can unabashedly claim their space, connect with kindred spirits, and embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Prior to ALTAR, Kathy had a career in strategy consulting, brand management and recruiting. Despite 15 years of success in a variety of settings, her “work” self and “real” self never quite felt like the same person. In 2001, she left the corporate world for good to pursue her long-held interest in psychology and spirituality. In the years since, she has become an ordained Inter-Spiritual Minister, a SoulCollage® facilitator, and a Pathwork Helper.
The title of Consciousness Concierge was given to Kathy by her friend, Dr. Laura Berman, in the spirit of a concierge in the hospitality industry, who assists guests with their needs and desires. Kathy helps guide individuals in navigating their inner landscape, providing tools, techniques, and insights to deepen their understanding of themselves, enhance their mindfulness, and promote their overall well-being.
With Kathy's guiding presence, ALTAR invites you to step into a world where your whole self is celebrated, your growth is nurtured, and your spirit finds solace in a community in which you truly belong.
SoulCollage®️ at ALTAR
At ALTAR, SoulCollage is one of our signature offerings, and you’ll find a plethora of resources to use when you’re in our space. ALTAR Founder & SoulCollage Facilitator, Kathy Bresler, also offers programs and half-day retreats for new & experienced collagers to dive in and create.
SoulCollage® is a creative and intuitive process that combines imagery, self-expression, and self-discovery. Through the art of collage, individuals select and arrange images that resonate with different aspects of their inner world, creating unique cards that reflect their emotions, experiences, and aspirations. These personal cards then serve as mirrors to explore one's psyche, gain insights, and foster a deeper understanding of oneself, making SoulCollage® a powerful tool for inner reflection and growth.
